I am the promoter for the North East Enduro Tour Series (NEETS), we race a vast number of off-the-street style vehicles ranging from 4-8 cylinder cars in a 100 lap endurance style race. At times we have anywhere from 40-80 cars on the track at one time…scoring by hand is out the window! There is no other solution than utilizing a computerized scoring system, such as the AMB Transponders.
When it comes to buying the units, for this quantity alone we would be looking at spending nearly if not more than $20,000 to make the purchase. GP Sports Timing is an amazing alternative to spending thousands of dollars that would likely break an enduro series. Enduro racing is meant to be cheap and affordable, spending $20,000 is neither. Balancing that out on our racers would cost us their loyalty.
GP Sports Timing has saved us thousands we don’t have! They have helped us in times of need! They are ALWAYS available, no matter how early it is on a Sunday morning; when I need technical advice, the phone call is answered! We usually rent 1 case of 32 units per event…that quantity my even be increased since we were not left broke by a $20,000 order.
